When we took the call from our customer who wanted to install a Towbar for attaching his bike carrier to his recently purchased Cupra Born we gladly took on the challenge.
The bad news is the Cupra Born is not homologated to tow and so the vehicle has no towing capacity at all. The good news is that with the installation of a towbar a range of bike carriers are available to make life easier getting away on those weekend trips.

Our customer wanted to go for a detachable Towbar due to the fact the bar would not be in use all of the time. The other reason was that they didn’t want to spoil the look of the new car.
